I have come across a number of links that explore the music that I listened to in the 80s and 90s. I was really into the Alternative music scene back then. I have ALWAYS loved bands with non-traditional instruments in them. 

In the late 80s, I was really in the “Madchester” scene that was coming out of Manchester, England. I have found that there is a lot of these band on YouTube now. Here is a list in no particular order of the music that I listened to (live clips if available because I love live music as well):
